North in the foothills of the Green Mountain State Richford, Vermont is located in the northeast corner of Franklin County, bordered to the north by the Brome-Missisquoi Regional County Municipality in the Montérégie region of Quebec in Canada. Richford, the primary community, in the northwest part of the town along the Missisquoi River. 

 Bladesmith J.J. Sheperd is a native of Richford, VT.  A self taught smith preserving and promoting the ancient craft of forged knives. His passion is crafting knives featuring forged blades in the pursuit of the ultimate high performance cutting tool.
